Acá comenzaron las lluvias y el viento frío, junto a los días soleados intermitentes (apenas me estoy acostumbrando a este tema del cambio extremo de clima en esta ciudad). Hoy les traigo una reseña sobre esta crema para contorno de ojos tan recomendada y que a mucha gente le encanta... Y como siempre vengo a poner el desorden. (ﾉಥ益ಥ)


¿Alguien acá es fan de Fullmetal Alchemist? (#EdwardElric4ever, guuuurl (n˘v˘•)¬). ¿Recuerdan que durante la historia siempre citan la "Ley de Equivalencia de Intercambio" que dice que "no puedes ganar nada sin dar primero algo a cambio de igual valor"? Bueno, algo así fue mi experiencia con esta crema para contorno de ojos, ¿quieren saber por qué? Acompáñenme a leer.ヽ(^◇^*)/

El empaque es muy bonito. Es un tarro pequeño de color morado con letras blancas, hecho de plástico grueso. La caja es muy sencilla pero elegante y contiene el nombre de la crema y una pequeña descripción de su función.

 La parte lateral izquierda contiene una descripción en Hangul que ,según mi básica traducción, describe los usos del Precious Orchid Elixir, tanto por su actividad antioxidante como nutritiva y estimulante de la circulación sanguínea, resolviendo los problemas de piel cansada y con arrugas.

The left side contains a description in Hangul that ,according to my basic translation, describes the uses of the Precious Orchid Elixir, as long for its antioxidant and nourishing activities and stimulating blood circulation, solving the problems of tired skin and wrinkles at the same time.

La parte trasera de la caja viene en Hangul, e incluye una descripción del extracto de la flor de orquídea, el modo de empleo, la cantidad y la dirección de la compañía.

The back of the box comes in Hangul, and includes a description of the orchid flower extract, how to use it, the amount and the company address.

 En la pestaña superior de la caja, podemos ver un escrito en Hangul que dice "Este empaque de Innisfree está hecho con 5% de cáscaras de cítricos desechadas y 95% de pulpa reciclada". Esto hace que uno ame más esta marca, porque se preocupan mucho por el medio ambiente y buscan ser una empresa socialmente responsable.

In the upper tab of the box, you can see a writing in Hangul that claims "This Innisfree packaging is made with 5% citrus discarded rinds and 95% recycled pulp". This makes that more than one love this brand a lot, because they care a lot about the environment and seek to be a socially responsible company.


El envase es más grande que otras cremas para contorno de ojos que he visto, pero contiene más o menos la misma cantidad que la mayoría de ellas (30 ml). Tiene una parte en forma de rosca para poder remover la tapa, la cual tiene "innisfree" marcada. En la parte frontal del envase, se puede leer la marca, el nombre del producto y la misma descripción de la caja.

La parte trasera del envase viene escrita en Hangul, describiendo de modo corto el nombre de la crema, el modo de uso, la cantidad y el fabricante. En la parte lateral se puede leer la frase de "por favor regrese a Innisfree después de usarla" (prometo regresarlos en cuanto tenga la posibilidad económica, ¡te lo prometo Innisfree! ヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ) ¡Me encanta este grado de compromiso con el medio ambiente por parte de la empresa!

Al abrir la tapa exterior, se puede observar que el envase tiene un plástico termoadherente que protege la crema de agentes externos. También viene incluída una pequeña cubierta delgada de color blanco que se remueve fácilmente.

En la parte inferior del envase, se puede ver la fecha de caducidad impresa en relieve.

En búsqueda de una crema para contorno de ojos que me ayudara a disminuir las líneas finas bajo mis ojos, encontré esta crema que llamó mi atención por pertenecer a una de mis marcas favoritas. Esta crema la pedí en un Shopping Service de From Soko To Tokyo. Había encontrado pocas reseñas que hablaban de esta crema y la mayoría eran buenas, así que decidí comprarla. Esta fue mi primera crema para contorno de ojos, por lo que me dolió al principio invertir más de $30 dólares por una crema de tamaño pequeño (sí, soy algo tacaña ಥ_ಥ, pero se me está quitando y trato de invertir en productos buenos si realmente vale la pena hacer el gasto).

Contiene en sus primeros ingredientes al escualeno, emoliente conocido por ser una fuente rica en ácidos grasos y antioxidantes, y a la arbutina, compuesto conocido por dar iluminación al tono de la piel y mejorando la apariencia de manchas oscuras. El extracto de orquídea se encuentra en 12o. lugar, antes de la cafeína,el extracto de hoja de té verde y el extracto de hoja de Camellia japonica, conocidos por ser excelentes antioxidantes, antiinflamatorios y estimuladores de la correcta circulación sanguínea.

La crema es de consistencia algo pesada, y en cuanto la abres despide un aroma floral bastante fuerte pero no es molesto. No tiene espátula o alguna cuchara para tomarla, por lo que debes introducir tu dedo (como se ve en la foto, aunque se debe tomar menos para ponerla en los ojos. Yo tomé esta porción para mostrarles el color y la textura).

When I was searching an eye cream that could help me to diminish the fine lines under my eyes, I found this cream that caught my attention for belonging to one of my favorite brands. I ordered this cream from a Shopping Service at From Soko To Tokyo. I had found few reviews talking about this cream and most of them were good, so I decided to buy it. This was my first eye cream, so it hurted at first to invest more than $30 dollars for a small size cream (yes, I'm a bit niggard ಥ_ಥ, but I'm trying to reduce this and I'm trying to invest in good products if it's really worth it do the expense buy).

It contains in its first ingredients squalene, an emollient known to be a rich source of fatty acids and antioxidants, and arbutin, a compound known to give brightness to the skin tone and improving the dark spots appearance. The orchid extract is in 12o. place, before caffeine, green tea leaf extract and Camellia japonica leaf extract, known for being excellent antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and stimulators of proper blood circulation.

The cream is quite thick consistency, and as soon as you open it, it spread a strong floral aroma but it isn't annoying. It doesn't have a spatula or a spoon to take it, so you have to introduce your finger (as you can see in the picture, although you should take less to put it in your eyes. I took this portion to show you the color and texture).

Esta crema se aplica bajo los ojos, de preferencia dando ligeros golpecitos con tus dedos para poder esparcirla y lograr que se absorba mejor. En mi caso, tardaba bastante en absorberse pese a que la piel bajo mis ojos no es grasosa como el resto de mi cara. Esa zona quedaba algo brillosa después de 10 minutos de aplicada, y si aplicaba demasiada crema, se formaban pequeñas bolas de crema en la parte externa de mis ojos.


This cream is applied under the eyes, preferably lightly tapping with your fingers to spread it and get it better absorbed. In my case, it took a long time to get absorbed despite the fact that the skin under my eyes is not oily like the rest of my face. That area was somewhat shiny after 10 minutes of application, and if I applied too much cream, small balls of cream were formed on the outside part of my eyes.

Comencé a usarla en Agosto de 2017 y se terminó en Abril de 2018. La usaba durante el día y la noche, sintiendo que se aprovechaba de mejor manera durante la temporada fría y por las noches (probablemente porque mi piel se sentía un poco más seca y absorbía la crema rápidamente). La ventaja es que con una pequeña porción cubres bastante bien el área debajo de ambos ojos. Cuando yo me llegaba a pasar de cantidad, la ponía sobre mi párpado superior también, aplicándola a pequeñas palmaditas también. Pude ver que conforme la iba usando, mis ojeras marcadas fueron emparejando el tono con la piel de mi rostro, se marcaban menos y se veían menos oscuras.

Quiero aclarar que la mejora en las ojeras (al igual que el resto de la piel) depende mucho también del estilo de vida que lleves: como dijo Ani en ocasiones el estrés, la falta de sueño o el desgaste físico repercuten mucho en el aspecto de las ojeras, no importa que estés usando la mejor de las cremas. Y eso también lo comprobé mientras probaba esta crema: de Agosto a Diciembre de 2017 vi una gran mejoría en el aspecto de mis ojeras, pero en Febrero de 2018 tuve un gran periodo de estrés donde no comía bien, casi no dormía y me descuidé muchísimo por el tema de la mudanza. Ahí es donde volví a ver que aparecían tan marcadas y oscuras como antes de usar la crema. Entonces ténganlo siempre en cuenta, hay que complementar un buen cuidado facial con un estilo de vida saludable. (*~▽~)

Como les dije, también la aplicaba en el párpado superior cuando me sobraba, y pude ver que me ayudó a regular de igual forma el tono (que es normal que esté más oscuro, pero en ocasiones y por falta de sueño suele marcarse más en mi piel). Incluso sentía que me ayudaba a desinflamar el párpado cuando estaba muy cansada y sentía los ojos demasiado hinchados, y yo percibía que se absorbía mucho más rápido que en la parte inferior de los ojos.

Todos estos resultados me parecen muy buenos, obtuve buenos resultados y se mantuvieron aún cuando mi estilo de vida se desbalanceó...Ah, pero tenía que venir yo a poner el desorden aquí, y hubo un punto que no me convenció del todo...

¿Recuerdan que al principio les mencioné la Ley de Equivalencia de Intercambio? Bueno, pues ahora les explicaré por qué. Mientras veía que mis ojeras mejoraban su aspecto y mis párpados superiores emparejaban su color, comencé a ver que las líneas finas debajo de mis ojos se iban marcando más y más. Y durante el mismo periodo de tiempo llevé buena alimentación, dormía bien y me hidrataba adecuadamente. No entendí la causa de la desmejora de estas líneas, pero a partir de Enero-Febrero que comencé a tener irregularidades en mi rutina diaria se marcaron mayormente. Es algo extraño ya que la crema está diseñada para mejorar el aspecto de las arrugas, y en mi caso se observaban más pronunciadas (hasta la fecha sigo viéndolas más marcadas que en un inicio). Sé que suelen verse diferentes resultados conforme se utiliza la crema, pero en mi caso fue una sorpresa para nada grata. Pude mejorar un poco su aspecto cuando agregué ácido hialurónico a mi rutina facial, pero honestamente siento que esta crema se quedó corta en cuanto a su acción sobre mis líneas finas.

I started using it in August, 2017 and it was finished in April, 2018. I used it during day and night, feeling that it get better absorbed during the cold season and at night (probably because my skin felt a bit drier and absorbed the cream quickly). The advantage is that with a small portion you cover the area under both eyes quite well. When I spent quantity during my routine, I put it on my upper eyelid too, patting it too. I could see that as I was using it, my dark circles were matching the tone with the skin of my face, they were less marked and they looked less dark. 

I want be clear that the improvement in dark circles (and for the rest of the skin too) also depends a lot on the lifestyle you have: as Ani said sometimes stress, lack of sleep or physical exhaustion have a great effect on the appearance of dark circles, it doesn't matter if you're using the best of the creams. And I know this is true 'cause I tried it with this cream: from August to December,2017 I saw a great improvement in the appearance of my dark circles, but in February,2018 I had a great period of stress where I didn't eat well, I almost didn't sleep and I didn't take care of myself very much for the moving topic. That's where I saw again that the dark circles appeared so pronnounced and dark as before use the cream. So always keep in mind that you have to complement good facial care with a healthy lifestyle. (*~▽~)

As I told you, I also applied it on the upper eyelid when I spilled the cream, and I could see that it helped me to regulate the tone in the same way (it's normal that the upper eyelid use to be darker, but sometimes and due to lack of sleep, it's more pronnounced in my skin). I even felt that it helped to reduce inflammation of the eyelid when I was very tired and my eyes felt too swollen, and I felt that it absorbed faster than in the lower part of the eyes. 

All these results seem very good, I got good results and they stayed even when my lifestyle got out of whack ... Ah, but I 'm a messy girl so I should give some mess here, and there was a point that didn't convince me at all...

Remember that at the beginning I mentioned the Law of Exchange Equivalence? Well, now I'll explain you why. While I saw that my dark circles were improving their appearance and my upper eyelids matched their color, I saw that the fine lines under my eyes were becoming more and more pronnounced. And during the same period of time I ate healthy food, slept well and hydrated properly. I didn't understand the cause of the deterioration of these lines, but starting in January-February, I began to have irregularities in my daily routine and the fine lines were pronnouncing more and more. It's strange because the cream is designed to improve the appearance of wrinkles, and in my case they were more pronounced ('til today I see them more pronnounced than in the beginning). I know that different results are usually seen as the cream is used, but in my case it was a surprise not pleasant at all. I could improve its appearance a little when I added hyaluronic acid to my facial routine, but I honestly feel that this cream didn't give all in terms of its action on my fine lines.

Although I saw improvement in my dark circles, the truth is that I didn't like the fact of giving as exchange the appearance of wrinkles under my eyes (ಠ╭╮ಠ). I think that its effect can be complemented by adding other products to the routine, but at least in my case I think it's useless if I'll only use it in certain areas of the eyes praying that the wrinkles won't get pronounced again. I probably won't buy it again, I'd like to try other options for eye creams.

¿Han usado alguna crema para contorno de ojos? ¿Cuál me recomendarían? Ésta me dejó deseando mejores resultados para mis líneas finas o(╥﹏╥)o. Ando buscando una nueva ya que había comprado una de Cosrx pero la recibí en muy malas condiciones y no puedo usarla ya. Lo que pude comprobar es que no importa cuán grasa sea tu piel, la piel bajo los ojos es más sensible y un poco más seca y necesita un cuidado aparte.

Have you used any eye cream? Which one would you recommend me? This left me wanting better results for my fine lines o(╥﹏╥)o. I'm looking for a new one since I had bought one from Cosrx but I received it in very bad condition and I can't use it anymore. What I could see is that no matter how oily your skin is, the skin under your eyes is more sensitive and a bit drier and needs separate care.
