¡Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien, por acá estamos a un pelín del resfriado debido a las lluvias y el frío constante T-T. Y como dicen en mi ciudad "al mal tiempo, buena cara", el jueves pasado recibí un paquete muy especial por parte de Jolse ♥. Ya había comprado muchas veces antes en esta tienda, pero nunca había compartido mi experiencia aquí en el blog. Así que, aprovechando un poco esta entrada, les contaré sobre esta tienda y mi experiencia de compra (Spoiler: Es el BAE de muchas chicas amantes del K-beauty por muchas buenas razones).

Jolse es una tienda online radicada en Corea del Sur, dedicada a la venta de productos de cosmética coreana. En su catálogo poseen gran variedad de marcas coreanas y actualizan constantemente su repertorio. Su página principal está totalmente en inglés.

Jolse is an online store based in South Korea, dedicated to the sale of Korean cosmetics products. In their catalog they have a great variety of Korean brands and they constantly update their repertoire. Its main page is entirely in English.

Tienen otras promociones donde te hacen descuentos del 5% ó 10% extras si tu compra pasa los $100 o $200 dólares, respectivamente.

They currently ship worldwide, having a lot of promotions depending on the dollar amount you spend in their store:

• They have free shipping, but they don't provide a tracking number.
• They have standard shipping, through Korea Post, which costs $ 2.50 USD and they give you a tracking number [or, spending more than $ 40 USD, they give it to you totally free].
• They have express delivery, through EMS, which costs $ 22.50 USD and they give you a tracking number [or, spending more than $ 150 USD, they give it to you totally free].

They have other promotions where they make discounts of 5% or 10% extra if your purchase passes the $ 100 or $ 200 dollars, respectively.

Dependiendo de tu país, puede tardar en llegar de 3 a 7 días hábiles (en envíos EMS) o de 15 a 35 días hábiles (envío por Korea Post) hasta tus manos (toma en cuenta además qué tan eficientes son aduanas y correos gubernamentales en tu país, además de si son fechas festivas o días comunes).

Además del envío, cuando gastas más de cierta cantidad de dólares en la tienda te envían diferentes productos, que van desde parches de nariz hasta mascarillas, calcetines, toallitas exfoliantes o crema de manos (aunque suelen ser muy bondadosos y siempre dan un pilón, ya sea en muestras o algún producto más grande).

In addition to shipping, when you spend more than a certain amount of dollars in the store they send you different products, ranging from nose patches to sheet masks, socks, exfoliating wipes or hand cream (although they're usually very kind and always give extra stuff, either in samples or some larger product).

Tanto en Facebook como en Instagram siempre hacen eventos y están publicando actualizaciones de los productos que están por lanzar o las promociones que tendrán por determinado tiempo. Es recomendable seguirlos para estar al pendiente de algún evento en especial. También tienen un canal en Youtube que, aunque tiene pocos videos, muestra las novedades que habrá en su tienda y algunas reseñas de su linda modelo Heiley.

Si prefieres comprar en eBay, Jolse también cuenta con una tienda en esta plataforma y los tiempos y costos de envío son similares a los que manejan en su tienda oficial (aunque en mi experiencia comprando en eBay, muchas veces puedes conseguir mejores ofertas que en su tienda pero podrían no incluir tantas muestras como cuando compras en su tienda oficial).

Jolse has Facebook and Instagram too, and always post events and updates of the products they are about to launch or the promotions they'll have for a certain time. It's advisable to follow them to be aware of any special event. They also have a Youtube channel that, although it has few videos, shows the novelties that will be in its store and some reviews of its beautiful model Heiley.

If you'd like to buy on eBay instead, Jolse also has a store on this platform and the times and costs of shipping are similar to those handled in their official store (although in my experience buying on eBay, you can often get better deals than on their store but may not include as many samples as when you shop at their official store).

Si prefieres comprar en idioma español, puedes hacerlo en su página oficial en nuestro idioma pero debes tener en cuenta que las promociones de la página en inglés podrían no estar disponibles en la versión en español, y el crédito que obtengas en alguna de ellas no estará disponible en su contraparte.

Si navegas desde tu celular, puedes descargar su app oficial (ya sea versión Android o iOS) para que te lleguen notificaciones sobre promociones, productos nuevos y eventos (aunque suelen tener un retraso de 2-5 minutos respecto a la publicación en su página oficial).

If you browse from your phone, you can download their official app (either Android or iOS version) so you'll receive notifications about promotions, new products and events (although they usually have a delay of 2-5 minutes regarding the publication on their official website ).

Me parece que la gran fama que tiene Jolse dentro de las tiendas online coreanas es que demuestra que tiene gran interés por estar al pendiente de sus clientes y sus necesidades. Esto lo refleja de muchísimas formas:

• The shipping types and big samples amoutn that are sent for free (which I mentioned earlier).
• Offers and promotions constantly, either in specific brands or a product that can reduce its cost up to 60% discount or more (so-called "Hot Deals"). If you are looking for a bigger promotion, it's better to buy on holidays such as Chuseok, Black Friday, some weekend (starting from Friday) or at the end of the month, since in last week of each month they launch an event called "Megadeal" where you can get products with a lot or little discount.

• Jolse lanza constantemente eventos donde recluta testeadores para que prueben productos en específico: les envían los productos y a cambio ellos los prueban y reseñan. También ofrecen patrocinio a los bloggers, enviándoles distintos productos para que los prueben y compartan sus experiencias a modo de reseña.

La tienda lanzó una campaña donde anunciaba la más reciente "Jolse Box", que iba revelando los productos que contenía uno por uno durante una semana entera. Esta Jolse Box tuvo tanta buena respuesta que era prácticamente una bomba de tiempo esperando el momento exacto para estallar. ¿Y por qué tanto alboroto por esta caja? Bueno, porque todos los productos incluidos pertenecen a marcas bastante buenas y porque su costo total ($33.48 dólares) era demasiado barato y tentador, tomando en cuenta por ejemplo que sólo el precio de la mascarilla de Blithe ronda los $27-$30 dólares.


I still remember happily that Malcolm the middle chapter when Lois takes the three brothers and the father to the shopping center, where there is a great clothes offer with women fighting against each other and she says "yes, be afraid , fear will help you and keep you alive... It's an offer of 80% discount!". Although it sounds a bit crazy, that was exactly what happened with this package.

The store launched a campaign where it announced the most recent "Jolse Box", which was revealing the products it contained one by one for a whole week. This Jolse Box had such a good response that it was practically a time bomb waiting for the exact moment to burst. And why all the fuss over this box? Well, because all the products included belong to quite good brands and because their total cost ($33.48 USD) was too cheap and tempting, taking in consideration for example that just the price of the Blithe mask is around $27-$30 USD.

Como les dije, sólo era cuestión de tiempo para que esta bomba estallara... Tanto así, que en cuanto agitaron la bandera de arranque, en menos de 3 minutos se vendieron las 100 cajas que tenían disponibles... (No es broma, la Jolse Box se agotó en menos de 3 minutos. Hubo una gran polémica debido a esto en el Instagram de Jolse, incluso ellos mismos tuvieron que salir a declarar que estaban sorprendidos por la rapidez con la que se habían agotado).

As I told you, it was just a matter of time for this bomb to explode... So much so, that as soon as they waved the start flag, in less than 3 minutes the 100 boxes that were available were sold... (No kidding, the Jolse Box was sold out in less 3 minutes There was a lot of controversy because of this in Jolse's Instagram, even they had to declare that they were surprised by how quickly they had run out).

Pagué $2.50 dólares extras como un envío regular, pero Jolse envió mi paquete por EMS (el envío express) el 31 de Julio, y llegó hasta mi casa el 9 de Agosto (tardó aproximadamente una semana y media contando el tiempo que pasó en aduanas). La caja llegó intacta y pesando aproximadamente 1.5 kilogramos.

Dentro de la caja de cartón corrugado, se encontraba la caja rosa y negra de la Jolse box que se había estado promocionando (¡es demasiado adorable y elegante! ♥‿♥).

Como muñeca matrioshka, dentro de esta cajita venían los productos bien embalados en papel burbuja y acomodados.


I paid $2.50 USD extra as a standard shipping, but Jolse sent my package by EMS (express delivery) on July 31st, and arrived at my house on August 9th (it took about a week and a half counting the time it spent at customs). The box arrived intact and weighing approximately 1.5 kilograms.

Inside the corrugated cardboard box, was the pink and black box of the Jolse box that the store had been promoting (it's too adorable and elegant! ♥‿♥).

As a matryoshka doll, inside this box came the products well packaged in bubble paper and well arranged.

Esta crema pertenece a la nueva línea que HaruHaru lanzó al mercado. Al abrirla, la tapa venía un poco movida y se salió un poco de la crema, pero nada que sea tan grave. El empaque es bastante llamativo, además de que viene marcado como "libre de químicos, crueldad animal y parabenos" y elaborada con ingredientes naturales. Tiene un fuerte aroma parecido al de los cítricos, que perdura bastante tiempo.

This cream belongs to the new line that HaruHaru launched to market. When opened, the lid came a little moved and some cream left out, but nothing so serious. The packaging is really original, in addition to being marked as "chemicals, animal cruelty and parabens free" and made with natural ingredients. It has a strong aroma similar to citrus, which lasts for a long time.

Gothamista tiene un video entero dedicado a esta mascarilla, donde dice que se puede usar al lavar la cara o cuando estás en la ducha. Para utilizarla, se diluyen 7ml de esta mascarilla en 700 ml de agua, para posteriormente dar palmaditas en la cara con esta mezcla por 15 segundos. La versión de té verde era demasiado tentadora para control de sebo y limpieza de poros, así que era demasiado tentador comprarla a tan bajo precio. Según su video, es práctica, hidratante y cumple la función de una mascarilla regular, así que estaremos probándola en casa sobre todo por la parte de "resumir la rutina" (en casa, me cuesta muchísimo que la familia siga continuamente su rutina de cuidado de la piel, así que esta mascarilla será buena para evitar pretextos ¬‿¬).

Gothamista has a whole video dedicated to this mask, where she says it can be used when washing your face or when you're in the shower. To use it, you must dilute 7ml of this mask in 700 ml of water, to later pat on the face for 15 seconds. The green tea version was too tempting for oil control and pore cleansing, so it was too tempting to buy it at such a low price. According to her video, it's practical,hydrating and fulfills the function of a regular mask, so we'll be testing it at home especially for the part of "summarize the routine" (at home, it's very difficult for me that my family take their skincare routine seriously, so this mask will be good to avoid pretexts ¬‿¬).

[TOSOWOONG] Spot Whitening VITA Clinic Vitamin Eye Cream

Esta crema de contorno de ojos la tenía en mi wishlist desde hacía tiempo, particularmente por su contenido de arbutina, niacinamida y de extractos de espino amarillo (conocido como sea buckthorn), berenjena y brócoli. El empaque es muy diferente a otras cremas que he probado anteriormente, lo veo más práctico y rendidor. Jane de TheGlamGamer lo describió en su blog como humectante pero no graso, además de que le da a la piel luminosidad, hidratación, firmeza, elasticidad y efectos positivos con las líneas finas.

This eye cream was on my wishlist for a long time, particularly for its content of arbutin, niacinamide and extracts of sea buckthorn, eggplant and broccoli. The packaging is very different from other creams that I've tried before, I see it more practical and longlasting. Jane from TheGlamGamer described it on her blog as moisturizing but not greasy, in addition to brightening effect, hydration, firmness, elasticity and positive effects with fine lines.

Tanto la crema como la marca son nuevas para mí, pero me llama la atención el hecho de que dé un efecto refrescante al usarla. Contiene extracto de ginseng y agua de los glaciares de Alaska, y posee una textura tipo gel que hidrata sin dejar la piel demasiado pesada. También tiene niacinamida, pantenol y betaína. He visto en Internet algunas cremas que, bajo este mismo principio, cambian de consistencia al exponerse a bajas temperaturas (llegando a adoptar una textura tipo sorbete). Será interesante ver si esta crema también cambia su consistencia. La he probado en mis manos y sí tiene sensación refrescante, pero la pondré a prueba cuando el clima mejore y realmente llegue el verano a la ciudad ಠ╭╮ಠ.

Both the cream and the brand are new to me, but it's really interesting that it gives a refreshing effect when used. Contains ginseng extract and Alaska glacial water, and has a gel-like texture that moisturizes without leaving the skin too heavy. It also has niacinamide, panthenol and betaine. I've seen on the Internet some creams that, under this same principle, change their consistency when exposed to low temperatures (adopting a sherbet texture type). It'll be interesting to see if this cream also changes its consistency. I've tried it on my hands and it does have a refreshing sensation, but I will put it to the test when the weather improves and the summer really arrives to the city ಠ╭╮ಠ.

Zazil, en el grupo de K-Beauty en Español, me había comentado que le gustaba mucho este serum porque le dejaba el rostro hidratado y suave. Contiene EGF y ceramidas, ingredientes que he estado buscando como auxiliares a mi piel porque he visto buenos resultados con el uso constante. Dado que soy una usuaria continua de los ácidos exfoliantes, creo que será una buena opción para añadir a mi rutina.

Zazil, in the K-Beauty en Español group, told me that she liked this serum very much because it left her face hydrated and soft. It contains EGF and ceramides, ingredients that I've been looking for as an aid to my skin because I've seen good results with constant use. Since I am a continuous user of exfoliating acids, I think it'll be a good option to add to my routine.

Y esta fue mi primera Jolse Box. Lo cierto es que tuve suerte y, aunque hubo problemas al pagar con Paypal, logré hacerme de una de éstas antes de que se agotaran (ʘ∇ʘ)ﾉ. Aunque hay muchos productos que no tenía contemplado usar, creo que será interesante probar si tienen efectos positivos en mi piel grasa, ya les estaré contando mi experiencia.

And this was my first Jolse Box. The truth is that I was lucky and, although there were problems when paying with Paypal, I managed to get one of these before they ran out (ʘ∇ʘ)ﾉ. Although there are many products that I hadn't planned to use, I think it'll be interesting to test if they have positive effects on my oily skin, I will already be telling you my experience.
