¡Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien, por acá estamos entrando a un clima bastante complicado y no apetece mucho salir de casa. Lo bueno es que puedo escribir entradas para el blog aunque sean pequeñitas, como en este caso. El día de hoy les compartiré mi experiencia comprando en esta tienda online llamada Miss Beauty Korea. La descubrí cuando en el grupo de K-beauty en Español comenzaron a hablar de ella, pero no me animé a comprar ahí hasta que leí que la mismísima Queen Evelyn había comprado en ella y que su experiencia había sido muy agradable. Posteriormente, probé suerte encargando algunas cosas y logré concretar mi primera compra con ellos, que incluía un par de limpiadores de la línea Cica Balance de Etude House. Como había tenido una grata experiencia con ellos, terminé comprando un par de veces más y todas fueron geniales, por lo que siento que ya es tiempo de hacerle justicia y contarles sobre ella y por qué merece ser incluída en su lista de tiendas online confiables para comprar 😘. ¡Vamos allá entonces!

The good thing is that I can write blog entries even if they are short, as in this case. Today I'll share my experience shopping in this online store called Miss Beauty Korea. I discovered it on the K-beauty en Español group when they started to talk about it, but I didn't dare to buy it there until I read that Queen Evelyn herself had bought it and that her experience had been very pleasant. Later, I tried by ordering some things and I made my first purchase with them, which included a couple of cleansers from the Cica Balance line of Etude House. Since I had a great experience with them, I ended up buying a couple of more times and they were all great, so I feel it's time to tell you about it and why it deserves to be included in your list of reliable online stores 😘. Let's go there then!

Esta tienda es de las que más se actualizan constantemente, pues en cuanto tienen noticias de alguna nueva línea de productos lo ponen a la venta incluso antes que en las páginas oficiales de las marcas coreanas. Estos productos nuevos los lanzan en la parte frontal de su página en la sección llamada "Recién llegados" ("New arrivals").

Otra sección interesante es la llamada "Cool Deal", donde puedes encontrar productos muy buenos a precios reducidos porque puede ser posible que los empaques estén un poco maltratados (OJO: No son productos caducados o aplastados, ellos mismos especifican que son cajas que quizás estén un poco dañadas pero que los productos dentro siguen estando en buenas condiciones). Personalmente yo lo encuentro como una buena opción de conseguir productos a buen precio, aunque hay que estar revisando esta sección constantemente porque lo que hay ahí puede llegar a agotarse rápidamente.

This store is one of the most constantly updated, because as soon as they know about a new line of products, they put it on sale even before the official pages of the Korean brands launch them. These new products are launched on the front of their page in the section called "New Arrivals".

Another interesting section is the so-called "Cool Deal", where you can find very good products at reduced prices because it may be possible that the packaging is a little mistreated (WARNING: They are not expired or crushed products, they specify that there are boxes that may be a little damaged but that the products inside are still in good condition). Personally I find it as a good option to get products at a good price, although you have to be checking this section constantly because all things here can quickly become out of stock.

En todos los productos viene indicado el peso aproximado en gramos, lo cual es una gran ayuda especialmente porque el envío se paga por peso (y así puedes ir cotizando al agregar productos a tu carrito para saber si el envío será más barato o más caro). Los precios están indicados en wons surcoreanos (KRW) y en dólares (USD), y todos los productos tienen una conversión a "puntos" en la parte inferior. Estos puntos, similares a otras tiendas, se pueden canjear en la próxima compra que realices en Miss Beauty Korea. Son una buena opción para ahorrar unos cuantos dólares y además incentivan a los compradores porque es una recompensa que la propia tienda te ofrece. 

Un ejemplo de la conversión aproximada de puntos a dinero de descuento es:

1000 puntos = 1 KRW =  0.86 USD

In all the products you can see the approximate weight in grams, which is a great help especially because the shipment is paid by weight (and thus you can go checking options when adding products to your cart to know if the shipment will be cheaper or more expensive). Prices are indicated in South Korean wons (KRW) and in dollars (USD), and all products have a "points" conversion at the bottom. These points, similar to other stores, can be redeemed in the next purchase you make in Miss Beauty Korea. They are a good option to save a few dollars and also encourage buyers because it is a reward that the store offers you.

An example of the approximate conversion of points to discount money is:
1000 points = 1 KRW = 0.86 USD

La sección de pago es muy fácil de usar, incluso puedes sacar uno o varios productos de tu carrito seleccionándolos en la misma ventana. Es aquí donde puedes ver el peso total aproximado que tendrá tu paquete,además del costo total y los puntos que obtendrás al terminar tu compra (hoy quise ejemplificar el carrito de compras agregando los mismos productos de este Haul, pero me di cuenta que uno de ellos ya no está disponible 🙁).

The payment section is very easy to use, you can even remove one or several products from your cart by selecting them in the same window. This is where you can see the approximate total weight your package will have, in addition to the total cost and the points you will get when you finish your purchase (toady I wanted to exemplify the shopping cart by adding the same products of this Haul, but I realized that one of them is no longer available 🙁).

Una de mis secciones favoritas de esta tienda y que pude probar en mis compras recientes fue la de  Peticiones o "Requested" donde puedes pedirles que compren un producto para tí, ya sea cosméticos, alimentos o ropa en especial. Es perfecta para productos coreanos que difícilmente ves en otras tiendas online, cuando quieres verificar si podrías obtener algún producto especial a menor precio o cuando hay lanzamientos de nuevos productos sólo en tiendas oficiales online. Sólo tienes que entrar a la sección, colocar el enlace del producto que deseas que consigan para tí y te responderán lo más pronto posible, ya sea confirmando que pueden conseguirlo brindándote un enlace de compra o indicando si no es posible realizar el pedido (por ejemplo, he visto que algunos productos no pueden conseguirlos porque la marca los ha descontinuado).

Yo he utilizado esta sección  y responden rapidísimo, la mayoría de las veces en el mismo día que realizas la petición te responden con el enlace listo para que compres el producto (en verdad, en menos de una hora ya he obtenido buena respuesta por parte de ellos). La vez que tardó un poco más de tiempo fue porque envié la petición en fin de semana y aún así el lunes siguiente me enviaron el enlace en cuanto pudieron hacerlo.

Si puedo hacer una observación aquí es que hay que verificar bien el modo en el que indican que van a conseguir los productos que les has encargado. Muchas veces pueden conseguirlos inmediatamente, pero otras veces advierten que pueden tardar algo de tiempo en conseguirlo y que pueden tener gastos extra por el envío a sus oficinas (para que tomen en cuenta este posible gasto extra si se los señalan en la publicación).

One of my favorite sections of this store and that I could try on my recent purchases was "Requested", where you can ask them to buy a product for you, it could be cosmetics, food or clothing in particular. It's perfect for Korean products that you rarely see in other online stores, when you want to verify if you could get a special product at a lower price or when there are new product launches only in official online stores. You just have to enter the section, place the link of the product you want to get and they'll respond you as soon as possible, either confirming that they can get it by providing a purchase link or indicating if it is not possible to place the order (for example, I've seen that they can't get some products because the brand has discontinued them).

I've used this section and they answer very quickly, most of the time on the same day that you make the request they answer with the link ready for you to buy the product (honestly, in less than an hour I've already obtained a good response from they). The only time it take more time was because I sent the request on the weekend and still the following Monday they sent me the link as soon as they could.

If I can make an observation here is that you have to verify well the way they indicate that they're going to get the products that you have ordered them. Many times they can get them immediately, but sometimes they warn that they may take some time to get it and that they may have extra expenses for sending them to their offices (please take this possible extra expense in consideration if they indicated it in the publication).

Y por último, creo que es preciso mencionar el Servicio a Cliente que Miss Beauty Korea tiene. Desde que estás realizando tus compras hasta que recibes tu pedido son muy atentos, responden lo más pronto posible pese a la diferencia de zona horaria que puede ser un dolor de cabeza muchas veces.

Yo tuve un problema con una compra que había hecho porque se me olvidó cambiar la dirección que tenía registrada y me contacté con ellos por medio del Centro de Mensajes ("Message Center") en mi perfil para ver si podía cambiarla aún cuando mi compra ya estaba hecha. Siempre respondieron de forma muy amable y rápida y cambiaron los datos que yo les indiqué,  y el paquete llegó sin ningún problema. Lo mejor es que puedes platicar con ellos mientras sigues realizando tus compras, porque la misma página te indica en la parte superior si te respondieron de vuelta.

Su horario de atención es de 10:00 a 18:00 hrs (zona horaria UTC), y los días feriados no hay servicio.

And finally, I think it's necessary to mention the Customer Service that Miss Beauty Korea has. They are really nice since you're making your purchases until you receive your order, respond as soon as possible despite the time zone different that can be a headache many times.

I had a problem with a purchase I made before because I forgot to change the address I had registered and I contacted them through the Message Center on my profile to see if I could change it even when my purchase was already made. They always answered very kindly and quickly and changed the information I indicated, and the package arrived without any problem. The best thing is that you can talk with them while you keep shopping, because the same page tells you at the top if they answered you back.

Its opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (UTC time zone), and there is no service on holidays.

Esta compra la realicé el 25 de Marzo y lo enviaron el 28 de Marzo. Realmente no tardan tanto tiempo en enviar los paquetes, las otras veces que he comprado lo envían 1 ó 2 días hábiles después. El envío fue por medio de K-Packet  y lo entregaron en mi hogar el 30 de Abril. El costo total incluyendo el del envío fue de $49.69 dólares.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de esta tienda es que empacan con muchísimo cuidado tus productos. He comprado cosas que tienen dispensadores que parecen muy frágiles y vienen protegidos con papel burbuja y cartón adecuados para evitar posibles derrames o golpes que arruinen la compra. Y en cuanto a la parte externa es similar, ya que forran la caja con cinta adhesiva muy bien y esto evita que se abra o se rompa con mayor rapidez durante el envío.

I bought this order on March 25th and they sent it on March 28th. They really don't take so long to send the packages, the other times I bought they send it 1 or 2 business days later. The shipment was through K-Packet and they delivered it to my home on April 30th. The total cost including the shipping cost was $49.69 USD.

One of the things I like a lot about this store is that they pack your products very carefully. I've bought things that have dispensers that look very fragile and they come protected with bubble paper and cardboard to avoid possible spills or hits that ruin the purchase. And as for the external part is similar, since they cover the box with adhesive tape very well and this prevents it from opening or breaking more quickly during shipping.

Todo este haul lo compré de la marca The Saem, ya que he tenido buenas experiencias con algunos de sus productos de maquillaje y casi todos se pueden comprar a un precio accesible.

I bought all this haul about The Saem brand, since I've had good experiences with some of their makeup products and almost all can be purchased at an affordable price.

Desde hace tiempo estaba buscando una primera esencia para incorporarla a mi rutina, y ahora que mi piel está deshidratada siento que necesito un producto hidratante extra pero que no deje sensación pesada en mi rostro. Y aunque hay muchísimas opciones buenas en el mercado coreano, debido a mi dermatitis seborreica tengo que abstenerme de usar productos que contengan fermentos de hongos como Galactomyces 😔. Y buscando en otras tiendas online, di con este set de Primera Esencia de The Saem que contiene como único ingrediente %100 de Centella asiatica. Sin embargo, el precio (a mi parecer) era algo elevado sin contar el precio de envío (estaba cerca de los $45 dólares). Entonces probé en la sección de Peticiones de Miss Beauty Korea y en menos de una hora ya tenían el producto disponible en su tienda, con un costo de $26 dólares aproximadamente (pero aún con el costo de envío que incluía los otros dos productos del Haul, era mucho más barato que en otras tiendas donde solamente cotizaba este set).

El set viene en este empaque mediano que parece un libro verde grueso y contiene 1 botella grande y 1 pequeña con el mismo contenido de Centella asiatica.

Llevo un par de semanas usándola y creo que entraría más en la categoría de esencia (y no tanto como primera esencia, por aquello de que sólo contiene la Centella asiatica y no hay fermentos). Hasta donde la he utilizado, he visto que ayuda con las rojeces del rostro aún cuando se utiliza con pads de algodón, que puede ser irritante para pieles muy sensibles. Seguiré probándola y ya les contaré qué tal funciona. Eso sí, el aroma es curiosísimo porque es similar al de los jalapeños en escabeche 😝 como herbal y bastante ácido.

For some time, I was looking for a first essence to incorporate into my routine, and now that my skin is dehydrated I feel  that I need an extra moisturizing product but I didn't want that heavy feeling on my face that some products left. And although there are many good options in the Korean market, due to my seborrheic dermatitis I have to refrain from using products that contain fungal fermented ingredients like Galactomyces 😔. And looking in other online stores, I found this The Saem First Essence set that contains 100% Centella asiatica as only ingredient. However, the price (in my opinion) was somewhat high without counting the shipping price (it was close to $ 45 dollars). Then I tried in the Miss Beauty Korea Request section and in less than an hour they already had the product available in their store, with a cost of approximately $ 26 USD (but still with the shipping cost that included the other two Haul products, it was much cheaper than other stores).

The set comes in this medium packaging that looks like a thick green book and contains 1 large bottle and 1 small bottle with the same Centella asiatica content.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I think it'd fit more into the essence category (and not as a first essence, since first essence use to include fermented ingredients). As far as I've used it, I've seen that it helps with redness of the face even when it's used with cotton pads, which can be irritating for very sensitive skin. I'll keep testing it and I'll tell you how it works. Of course, the aroma is very curious because it is similar to pickled jalapenos 😝 as herbal and quite acidic.

[THE SAEM] Saemmul Perfect Curling Mascara

Este año me propuse aprender a maquillarme (sin hacer un enchastre en el intento 😂), aunque estoy procurando comprar productos que no sean tan caros para ir probando y conforme vaya aprendiendo adquirir otros de mejor calidad. Dentro de los productos nuevos que tenía Miss Beauty Korea en su catálogo se encontraba esta máscara de pestañas, y como el precio era bastante bueno ($2.36 dólares) decidí comprarla.

El tamaño es bastante bueno y al aplicarla en las pestañas, no deja grumos ni residuos molestos o pegajosos e inmediatamente se nota el cambio, haciéndolas lucir rizadas y más largas. Deja las pestañas rizadas durante un buen periodo de tiempo, aunque no he probado su capacidad a prueba de agua.

This year, I decided to learn how to wear make up as (leaving my house as clean as possible 😂), although I'm trying to buy products that are cheap to test them and, when I learn properly, I'd acquire better quality products. Among the new products that Miss Beauty Korea had in its catalog, I found this mascara, and since the price was quite good ($2.36 USD) I decided to buy it.

The size is quite good and when it's applied on the eyelashes, it doesn't clump and doesn't leave annoying or sticky residues and immediately you notice the change on your eyelashes, making them look curly and longer. It leaves the lashes curled for a good period of time, although I haven't tested its waterproof ability. 

[THE SAEM] Two Texture Tint (#RD01 Half and Half Red)

Esta compra fue un tanto impulsiva y porque llamaba mi atención el formato desde que vi el video en el canal de YouTube de Tester Korea. Es una tinta labial que contiene 2 tipos de acabado: mate y brilloso/gloss en un solo producto. Hay 5 colores disponibles, y todos lucen llamativos y vibrantes en ambas versiones. Su costo fue de $9.46 dólares.

El empaque es alargado y se puede llevar en el bolso para reaplicar (porque he hecho algunas pruebas y me parece que no tienen tanta duración), y considero que puede venir bien a la hora de determinar qué tipo de acabado te gustaría probar en base a cuál luce mejor en tus labios.

Realizaré un par de pruebas más sobre la duración y algunos swatches mejor producidos y se los mostraré en una reseña más detallada 😊.

This purchase was somewhat impulsive and because the format had caught my attention since I saw the video on the Tester Korea YouTube channel. It's a liptint that contains 2 types of finish: matte and glossy in a single product. There are 5 colors available, and all look flashy and vibrant in both versions. Its cost was $9.46 USD.

The packaging is long and can be carried in the bag to reapply (because I've done some tests and I think they don't last long), and I think it may be good to determine what type of finish you'd like based on which looks better on your lips.

I'll do a couple more tests about the duration and some better produced swatches and I'll show them in a more detailed review 😊.

Lo interesante de las muestras que envía Miss Beauty Korea es que siempre manda un buen número de ellas y que todas son de marcas buenas y variadas, porque a veces las tiendas internacionales (e inclusive las nacionales) envían muestras que se repiten una y otra vez (te hablo a tí, Panda's Dream White Magic Cream de TonyMoly 🤨). Además envían una nota donde te informan que si sufriste algún problema con el pedido o el envío te pongas en contacto con ellos, lo que demuestra que siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte.

The interesting thing about the samples that Miss Beauty Korea sends is that they always send a good number of them, from good and varied brands, because sometimes the international stores (and even the national ones) send samples that are repeated over and over again (I'm talking to you, Panda's Dream White Magic Cream by TonyMoly 🤨). In addition they send a note where they inform you that if you had a problem with your order or the shipment, you can contact them somehow, which shows that they're always willing to help you.

Y con esto termino la entrada de este Haul de Miss Beauty Korea. Tengo que decirles que esta tienda se ha vuelto de mis favoritas por sus precios, novedades constantes y variedad de marcas (incluyendo también las preciosas muestras que envían 😍).  Yo sé que muchas veces las tiendas que cobran los gastos de envío aparte no parecen muy atractivas porque lo relacionamos a un mayor gasto, pero la verdad con esta tienda online vale la pena probar sus próximas compras (eso sí, adquiriendo un paquete que no sea demasiado pesado). ¿Ustedes han comprado en esta tienda? ¿Cómo fue su experiencia de compra? I know that many times the stores that charge the shipping costs apart don't seem very attractive because we relate it to a greater expense, but the truth with this online store is that is worth trying your next purchases here (of course, try to buy a package that is not too heavy).
